Organizing for NARD 2021 was an incredible experience, especially since we had such a short amount of time to plan. We are proud of how the attendees and crew enjoyed the experience together on Agucate’s beautiful property. Sharing this event with our community has brought us together and motivated many to join us to become involved in participating in future events.

We jumped on board to plan NARD Miami 2021 because we felt it is our duty as a community to celebrate veganism and educate the public on the “What, Why’s, and How’s”. We want to make South Florida a global vegan hot spot and show others how we can live happily and flourish without exploiting and/or killing animals.

NARD seeks to unveil the atrocities being done to animals on a global scale, while simultaneously educating and motivating our communities to choose the vegan lifestyle and become active in speaking up for the animals. The event showcases vegan poems, a silent ceremony to remember the animals, a funeral for the animals, music from local vegan artists, following some talks from local activists and organizations.

South Florida is continuing to grow within the vegan movement. We can expect to see more vegan businesses, events, and activism. Events such as NARD create a great environment and opportunities for locals to engage with veganism and have support/resources.
