Plant-based food production in the United States is worth $5.2 billion and growing. Ask any entrepreneur what the most challenging thing about launching a startup is, and chances are they’ll tell you the same thing: funding. Plant-Based Pitch-Off is dedicated to early-stage and emerging startups that are developing innovative solutions for disrupting the food, beverage and agriculture industry locally, regionally and nationally. 20 start-ups will pitch in front of an esteemed panel along with a room of the most prominent venture capitalists, angel investors, incubators and accelerators from around the country. Over $10,000 in perks and prize money will be up for grabs.
