About the Speakers:
An east coast native, Nikki Benoit spent her college years and beyond as an activist for animals, the environment and social justice issues. Needing to make sense of and come to peace with everything along the way, she began her work on the spiritual level. When she realized that the conditions of our outer world are just reflecting the conditions of humanities inner world, her focus shifted to energy healing arts and yoga. Now a Reiki Master, yoga instructor, author, and speaker living in southern Florida, she hosts discussions on why animals matter, the magic of living a heart and intuition-led life, and the importance of self-love – the recipe for global peace.
Thomas Goodman has been a lifelong admirer of animals, was raised meat-free and later became a professional advocate in 2014. He has since worked in various initiatives such as corporate outreach, federal state and regulatory advocacy, promotion of Meatless Mondays, leafleting across North America, public speaking, campaigning, community organizing, and more for the animal protection movement.
John Oberg is an animal advocate and social media influencer, dedicated to making the world a kinder place for animals by utilizing the power of social media. In 2019, he launched his own independent project for animals through Patreon to maximize his impact for animals. Previously, he served as Director of New Media for the international animal protection organization, The Humane League and as Director of Communications for Vegan Outreach. In 2019, impressions of his posts on social media totaled over 200 million.
